Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 August 2026
By using exitclause.docsanddeadlines.com ("this site"), you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
What this site is
Exit Clause publishes independent, written guides about moving off business software: what a given migration path carries between two products, what a vendor export contains, what breaks in the connected systems around it, and what to capture before an account is cancelled.
It is an information site and nothing more. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or a partner of any vendor named on it, and product names and trademarks referred to here belong to their respective owners. This site does not rank or recommend software, does not carry paid placement or sponsored articles, and does not sell migration services or refer you to anyone who does.
No professional advice
Content here is general information, not professional advice.
Nothing here is legal, contractual, accounting, or tax advice. Pages about SaaS agreements explain where exit, renewal, and termination terms are usually found and what to ask about — they do not interpret your contract, and only a qualified adviser can do that. Where accounting or invoicing software is covered, the subject is strictly the mechanics of moving files and records between systems; nothing on this site says how any transaction should be recorded, treated, or reported.
Migrations, exports, and cancellations are destructive operations. Before you follow any procedure described here, take your own verified backup and, where the vendor allows it, test on a trial or sandbox account. Decisions about your own data, contracts, and deadlines remain yours.
Accuracy and currency
Guides are researched against official sources and dated on publication. Even so:
- Everything stated here about a product is true only as of the verification date printed on the page. Vendors change import behaviour, export contents, API limits, plan tiers, seat minimums, and renewal terms whenever they choose, usually without notice and often without updating their own documentation.
- What an export or importer actually produces can differ by plan, region, account age, and enabled add-ons. Your account may not behave the way the documented case does.
- A guide reflects the situation at the date shown on it, not necessarily today.
- Errors happen.
No warranty is given that content is accurate, complete, or current. If you find something wrong, please report it via the contact page — corrections are made promptly.
